Description
The Mixed Ensemble, also known as Chameleonica, is a small group of musical performers that combines voices, iPads, and traditional instruments to form a dynamic performance group. Students will be expected to attend regular rehearsals and to also learn, rehearse, and record their parts outside of regularly scheduled rehearsal time.
This ensemble performs as a standalone group and performs with other PHAME ensembles throughout the year. Students will be expected to bring a strong work ethic and a spirit of collaboration to the group, attend classes weekly (unless absences are arranged ahead of time) and encouraged to commit to the class for the whole school year (fall, winter, spring).
Prerequisites
Registration requirements: Participation is subject to instructor approval. Lab auditions happen annually at the end of Spring Term for the following year of classes.
