Radio Drama: Playwriting - Technique: Mondays, 3:30 PM-5:00 PM Online

Students will collectively create the script for a radio drama by choosing a story, plotting the script, and devising dialog

Description

PHAME’s Radio Drama class creates one full-length radio drama over the school year, with each term focusing on a different element of the process. For Fall Term (Radio Drama: Playwriting), students will collectively create the script for the radio drama by choosing a story, plotting the script, and devising dialog. This imaginative process will include group and individual projects, such as writing, improvising, world building, and dramatic readings. Students should come to class ready to share their ideas and work collaboratively. This class will have homework assignments.
