Acting Workshops at The Robin

Go beyond a typical class and dive into the craft of acting in focused, hands-on workshops! Each session concentrates on one key aspect of performance, giving you the chance to experiment, grow, and strengthen your skills in a supportive, creative environment. Each workshop stands on its own, so you can join one or take them all for a complete acting experience.

Description

Becoming the Character: January 27, 6-8 PM

  • Learn how to truly inhabit a role, making choices in movement, voice, and behavior that bring a character to life in a believable, authentic way.

Play to Perform: February 17, 6-8 PM

  • Connect the dots between playful exercises and real performance skills, building confidence, expressiveness, and stage presence.

Trust Yourself on Stage, February 27, 1-3 PM

  • Build confidence and learn to trust your instincts using improv games that help you create honest, surprising, and dynamic performances.

Price per workshop: $40 (Tuition Assistance is available)

Maximum capacity: 15 students

Location: All workshops take place at The Robin unless otherwise specified.

Experience Level: These workshops are open to students of all experience levels.

Workshop Registration Deadlines: The last day to add or drop a workshop is seven days before the workshop date. Students who drop a workshop less than seven days before the workshop date, or who sign up but do not attend the workshop, must pay the full price of the workshop. Students are encouraged to register for workshops early, as these will fill quickly.
