Radio Drama: Post Production - Technique: Mondays, 4:00 PM-5:30 PM
Edit, arrange, and finish an audio drama using recordings from Winter Term.
Description
We’re creating one radio drama over three terms, so students can be more involved in the entire production. For Spring Term (Radio Drama: Post Production), students will take the voice acting, foley, and soundscape recordings created during Winter Term and will craft them into an engaging audio story. We will focus on the post-production aspects of making a radio drama, starting with learning editing software. Students will then progress to cutting and arranging audio files while honing their storytelling skills, and will end the term with a finished recording ready to share with the world. Students should come to class prepared to work collaboratively and individually on computers and iPads. This class will have homework assignments.
