Go beyond a typical class and dive into the craft of acting in focused, hands-on workshops! Each session concentrates on one key aspect of performance, giving you the chance to experiment, grow, and strengthen your skills in a supportive, creative environment. Each workshop stands on its own, so you can join one or take them all for a complete acting experience.

One-day workshops are great for any PHAME student looking to enhance their knowledge and skills within a certain type of art. They’re also a great way for new students to get to know PHAME.

Write your own 10-minute play and present a staged reading with pro actors.

Get hands-on, make a mess, and let your creativity run wild! This three-part workshop series gives students the chance to explore different art forms, experiment with new materials, and develop their own style in a fun, supportive environment. Each session is a deep dive into a specific art practice, so you can join one or take all three for the full creative experience.

This class focuses on basic rhythm skills while immersing students in percussion instruments from all over the world. Students will explore a mix of acoustic drums, hand clapping, bongos, congas, djembe, doumbek, shakers and more. No previous experience necessary; PHAME will provide instruments.

Learn the fundamentals of ballet plus a whole lot more! Come prepared to plié and point, tendu and twist, chassé and make shapes.

Students in this class will hone their skills as they build an ‘actor’s toolbox’ through theatre games and exercises.

Get ready to bring the laughs! In this sketch comedy class, students will learn how to create, write, and perform original comedic sketches inspired by shows like Saturday Night Live.
