Class students will take characters from the page to the stage. Together they will partner in small groups to develop short scenes from popular plays.

Description

In this technical acting class students will take characters from the page to the stage. Together they will partner in small groups to develop short scenes from popular plays. The class will explore script analysis, character relationships and motivations, and performance techniques. The Scene Study curriculum includes weekly homework and is designed for students with prior acting experience.

Prerequisites

Registration Requirements: This is a technique level class. In order to register for the class, students must have taken any Acting class at least once OR must request permission from the instructor.
